Last month China got through the 20th of the month. Which means there is a good chance that we are in for this months batch of referrals. Our LID is 1/26/06. I'm not sure what to think and don't want to get my hopes up just in case they only get throught the 25th. I do have a feeling that we will be in the next batch of referrals.
I think that we might hear something from our agency about the cutoff for this month today at 1:00 and possibly (if we are in) hear somethng about our referral next week. Just a guess though.
Today is also our 29th LID Anniversary. What that means is that 29 months ago, our documents were logged into China. We have officially have been in the process of our adoption for three years this month. Whoever thought that it would take this long. When we started the process we were told that the wait would be 6 to 8 months. I know that Emma will be well worth the wait.
Now all we have to do is sit and wait. Not that we haven't waited long enough.
I am at my sisters lake house in Connecticut and I brought my laptop just so that I don't miss anything this weekend. This would be a wonderful place to get some news. We love coming down here. Anyway lets hope that we hear something soon.
