SQUEAKY SHOES!

Well, yesterday Emma found her feet and realized what to do with them, try and walk. While we were waiting for everyone to get visa pictures taken of all of the babies, I went in a store next to where we were and found the squeaky shoes. I bought her a pair and then we had to get going so, I didn't have time to put them on. We had to get over to the clinic for the babies medical exams. Everything went well and very smooth at the exams. It's a little crazy but, it still was well done. Emma even laughed at one of the Doctor's. She didn't like them listening to her heart and chest, she kept pushing the stethoscope away. It was cute. She didn't cry at all through the exam. She did very well. All you have to do is give her a piece of paper or business card and she is happy. You just move from one station to the another until you have visited all of them. When you are finished you get them dressed and wait outside until everyone is done. We got Emma dressed and put her squeaky shoes on. We put her on the floor to see if she would stand up holding our hands and she did. She heard the shoes and just started to do a little dance. She loved the sound and started to move around. She would go sideways, backwards and forwards. She's finally learned that she can stand and try to walk. Everyone was surprised at how well she was doing so suddenly. We were all cheering her on and she was smiling. It was hard to put her back in the stroller now that she realizes she has legs and feet. We don't put them on her when we put her in the stroller, other wise she wants to use them.

She is just the happiest baby and is always smiling or laughing. She is always watching what is going on around her. What a curious little girl we have. We couldn't be happier with her. She is everything and more than I expected.

Guangzhou is so pretty. It is a small Island with beautiful gardens. The streets are narrow so that there aren't very many cars and you don't feel like you are going to get run over like in Nanchang. It feels like we are on a vacation here. It's so relaxing to just walk around and look in all the shops, watch all of the people and just take in all of the sites. We have a little more free time here so that we can take the time to just walk around and do some shopping.

The Hotel is just as nice. I will get pictures later today. We are going to do The Red Couch photo with all of the babie in their traditional dresses, the boys will have on their traditional outfits too. It should be crazy to get 9 babies to sit still for a picture. I will post pictures tonight our time.
