WE ARE FINALLY OFF TO CHINA

This past Monday we finally had our travel meeting down in Waltham MA. We are leaving for China on October 16th. YEAH! Our CA (Consulate Appt.) is on October 27th.
That is where we get Emma's visa and then we can come home.
We did have a little problem with our CA. Last Friday we found out that China never received our CIS approval, which means you can't get a consulate appt. without it. In order to get your CA you have to have your CIS clearance forwarded to the National Visa Center and the NVC forwards it to The Chinese Embassy in Guangzhou. The Chinese Embassy never received it so we had to call the NVC and ask them to forward it to China well, they said that they never received it and that we had to call our local CIS office and ask them to forward it to the NVC and then they would forward it to China. We did that and as of yesterday the NVC said that they sent it to China so, I hope that we are all set. I am going to China no matter what!
I can't beleive that this is finally going to happen. We have waited so long for this and now it is a reality. we have been through so many emotions through out this journey. We are so excited that in only 18 days we will finally get to hold our sweet little Emma. We're coming to get you Emma! Not much longer now. We just can't wait to get you home.

Leave Oct. 16 8:31 - arrive Beijing 1:55PM
Leave Beijing fly to Nanchang Oct. 19
GOTCHA DAY!! Oct. 20 The day Emma comes into our lives!
Leave Nanchang Oct. 24 (our Anniversary) fly to Guangzhou
Leave Oct. 28 and fly back to Beijing for an over night
Leave Beijing to fly home Oct 29 arrive home 9:24PM
